After taking the online value assessment I wasn't sure how to feel about my results. It felt a bit harsh but I tried to make a positive out of it. My top three values on the assessment were power, accomplishment and freedom. I strongly agree with those three but since I get to choose my own three, I will. My first work value is financial security. I grew up in extreme porverty until I was adopted. Thankfully my adopted parents were able to provide a comfortable lifestyle for me and my siblings. yet, I still remember the extreme poverty and it scares me.
